USA Biomedical Library Hires New Technology Initiatives Librarian


Adrienne McPhaul

Adrienne McPhaul joined the team at the University of South Alabama Biomedical Library in June 2018 as Information Services/Technology Initiatives Librarian. Adrienne comes to USA from the University of Southern Mississippi, Gulf Coast, where she served as the librarian for the colleges of Science and Technology, Nursing, and Health. 

Adrienne earned her Bachelor's degree in English from the University of South Alabama and her Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Alabama. She expects to receive a Master's in Instructional Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi in Spring 2019.

She was recently awarded the Southern Chapter of the Medical Library Association's Jocelyn Rankin Memorial Scholarship to attend a continuing education class at the  University of Pittsburgh Health Sciences Library entitled  "Systematic Review Workshop: the Nuts and Bolts for Librarians."
